We just came back from the Space Coast! We saw the Space Shuttle Launch on June 8th (what a 'blast' that was!), met with a local astronomy club, visited an observatory and much more. Stay tuned to Astroshorts.com and News in Space for a four-part series on our space coast adventure.

We just came back from hosting our own International Sidewalk Astronomy Night event. It was fun sharing the views of the Moon, Venus and Saturn with the general public. We filmed the event. Even more exciting is that people from all over the world have sent us their video and images of their local events. We have photos from Russia, Iran, Australia, you name it.
We will be pooling all the images and video together and will release a short video of the event on AstroShorts.com before the end of the month. Here is a sample video submission from our friends in Australia.

Starlight Learning will be attending the NorthEast Astronomy Forum (NEAF) on April 28-29. NEAF is North America’s premier astronomy expo and includes more than 80 onsite vendors, speakers and workshops. Starlight Learning will be covering NEAF and interviewing exhibitors.
